So what makes a song from this era important? I could argue that all songs are sublime compositions or that the videos are ground breaking, but it wouldn't be true. Closer to the truth would be: "because I think so".

Ultravox - Hymn

Year: 1982



I went to an Ultravox concert at Lisebergshallen around 1985 (I think). It is one of my best concert memories, ever. And one of my earliest too. The band did a percussion introduction to Hymn (if I remember correctly) which impressed me big time. It was one of those moments when you were one with the music.
