Year: 1983
I had a conversation the other day with a net-friend about artists and songs that you like, but don't want anyone to know that you do. Walking On Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves is such a song. On its release I found it totally irresistable in its simple joyful and uptempo style. Today it feels a little worn out. Still, it's one of the unforgettable hits for me even if I prefer to keep it a secret.
Memory pool
So what makes a song from this era important? I could argue that all songs are sublime compositions or that the videos are ground breaking, but it wouldn't be true. Closer to the truth would be: "because I think so".
Get your daily 80's fix and, if you like, share some of your memories with the rest of us.
See you!

P.S. In case you have any of the videos on the list in a decent quality, I
would appreciate if you get in touch with me.
