So what makes a song from this era important? I could argue that all songs are sublime compositions or that the videos are ground breaking, but it wouldn't be true. Closer to the truth would be: "because I think so".

The Primitives - Crash

Year: 1988



Not really the "early" 80's in a strict definition, but well within the boundaries of this glossy decade! The joyful Crash by The Primitives has been covered a few times, but as always I prefer the real McCoy. British pop at its best.
