So what makes a song from this era important? I could argue that all songs are sublime compositions or that the videos are ground breaking, but it wouldn't be true. Closer to the truth would be: "because I think so".

Kraftwerk - The Model

Year: 1978



Time for some Kraftwerk. Few can dispute the profound impact Kraftwerk have had on several genres within the electronica sphere. The Model is probably one of their most accessible songs (the video was even played on MTV obviously).
