So what makes a song from this era important? I could argue that all songs are sublime compositions or that the videos are ground breaking, but it wouldn't be true. Closer to the truth would be: "because I think so".

Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

Year: 1978



This song is probably the single most important reason for my musical interest. When I heard it the first time I thought that she must be from a different planet. Her voice is as unique as her artistic qualities. After having been shamefully neglected for many years, Kate Bush is nowadays referred to by many artists as an important source of inspiration.

Look out for Kate's (without any doubt) home-cooked choreography.
